Ok,
One of Jodo Kast`s main accessories is his stun collar. It was one of the more challenging accessories to figure out how to build, and this is how it was built. The first stun collar I had built for myself was undersized and I was not happy with, but the physical buildup was outstanding. Many thanks go out to my good friend Julia (JediElfQueen) who I hired to do the physical buildup of both versions of the collar.
First the only good reference pics of it:
So what I had Julia do is take a slat of plastic from a outdoor patio chair, and cover it with the grey material from the Jodo suit, and add the appropriate greeblies. It looked dead on, but I was not happy with it, as I thought it was undersized:
So after the V1 was completed, I had Julia immediately start on the v2. I had the following improvements made. First, the thickness of the collar went from 2 inches to 2 and 3/4 inches:
The new base for the collar was a strip of styrene:
After the base for the collar was chosen, the hardware for the closure mechanism was chosen. It was a simple magnet from an old purse:
After the material was added, the closure mechanism was added:
After that was completed, I had to find the appropriate box to attach to the collar. Fortunately, a Pill Box Timer from the local food store fit the bill:
Then it was painted:
Then it was attached to the main collar body with the rest of the greeblies:
And the collar was finally complete.
